BEC Education & Skill development for Engineers

British Engineering Council believes that all Engineers and technicians should learn Engineering Education and Skill development program to develop industry-relevant knowledge and skills.

The engineering profession supports the development of such high-quality programs. Many of these support individuals on their journey towards professional registration.

A key element of the British Engineering Council’s role as the regulator for the International Engineering Professions is to set and maintain the standards for professional registration. This includes setting the criteria that Education programs must meet to become ‘Accredited’ or ‘Approved’. Prospective Students, Employers and Society have the assurance that accredited or approved programs meet the standards set by the Engineering Profession.
Our Joint partner Institute JPJIRF developed the skill development program for Engineers , which will give the industry standards to the Engineers

To achieve BEC professional registration your competence and commitment will be assessed by existing registrants of a professional Engineering Institution that is licensed by the BEC. This process is known as the ‘Professional Review’. It is a peer process, by registrants who are competent and trained to undertake this assessment.
